Jacob, born in the wilderness to Lehi and Sariah, was Nephis righteous
younger brother. Because of his unshakable testimony he was called to be
a prophet and was given the sacred responsibility to keep the records
after Nephi. He was valiant and sincere in teaching the people and
labored diligently to bring them to Jesus Christ. In The Book of Mormon,
